User Satisfaction of Songtaew in Thailand: Case Study of Khon Kaen City
Nowadays the role of paratransit becomes the dominant transport mode in Thailand. Specially, Songtaew operates as a main public transport mode in many medium-sized cities. However, the study on Songtaew service in Thailand have not yet well understood. Therefore, the main objective of this paper is to investigate the role of it focusing on examining the user satisfaction in Khon Kaen city. The authors analyze results from a survey conducted among users and non-users. Based on the analysis, the overall satisfaction reflects that generally all users are satisfied with Songtaew service and want to keep using it in the future.
