CONCRETING IN WARM WEATHER

This article describes the action of heat on concrete during concreting and on hardened concrete, parameter after parameter: workability, setting time, hydration heat, coefficient of thermal expansion, loss of water, and consequences on mechanical strength and porosity. Among the precautions to be taken, emphasis is placed on those preventing evaporation of water. (TRRL)
