The National Recreational Boating Safety Program
This article discusses the history of the National Boating Safety Program. The goals of the program are to reduce casualties and increase the overall enjoyment of recreational boating. Today, there are increasing numbers of watercraft and decreasing numbers of fatalities on the nation's waterways. While no death is acceptable, this trend shows that program's efforts are going in a positive direction.
