Local bicycle policy: dealing creatively with limited resources
Lokaal fietsbeleid : creatief omspringen met beperkte middelen
The seven parishes of Dendermonde (Flanders, Belgium) are less than 8km from the center of town. However, it appears that many short distance trips happen by car. The city is trying to make the modal split more sustainable with limited financial resources and encourage journeys by bicycle.
