Geological, Geoenvironmental, and Geotechnical Engineering, Volume 3

This issue contains eleven papers concerned with geological, geoenvironmental, and geotechnical engineering. Specific topics addressed in this issue include the following: durability of chemically treated reclaimed asphalt pavement base layers; the effect of microbial-induced calcite precipitation on surface erosion and scour of granular soils; erosion rate curve of cohesive soils; moisture and density measurement in soils; interpretation of intelligent compaction data; and applicability of impact echo method for testing pavement base materials. Other topics addressed include: performance of polymer-stabilized soils; fracture resistance of stabilized soils; mitigation of desiccation cracking on slopes built with expansive soils; sustainability models for unsealed road pavements; and reduction in hydraulic conductivity and skid resistance caused by fog seal.
