Key factors affecting highway freight transportation disruptions at post disaster phase

A sustainable, resilient and safe freight transportation system is critically important for nation's economy. This paper discusses the basic parameters of resilience engineering and analyses freight transportation systems during post disaster phase, in order to identify the key factors affecting freight flow through transportation system during and just after a natural disaster. For this Bana data set of 1000 is collected by conducting a questionnaire survey to the key officials managing the freight transportation in Bangladesh. Key factors contributing to the freight transportation system is determined by Ordered probit (OP) approach.
