Proceedings of the 67th Highway Geology Symposium (HGS 2016)
Established to foster a better understanding and closer cooperation between geologists and civil engineers in the highway industry, the Highway Geology Symposium (HGS) was organized and held its first meeting on March 14, 1950, in Richmond, Virginia. At the 67th Symposium, thirty-eight papers were presented among five thematic technical sessions including: Slopes and a Sinkhole, Geological and Geotechnical Exploration, Geohazard Management and Monitoring, and Rockfall, as well as papers presented by Young Authors.
