BASIC STUDY OF THE CRACK PROPAGATION PROPERTIES OF ASPHALT MIXTURE IN THE FOUR-POINT BENDING FATIGUE TEST

4点曲げ疲労実験によるアスファルト混合物のき裂伝播特性に関する基礎的研究

 In order to evaluate the crack propagation properties of asphalt mixture, the four-point bending fatigue tests (B018T) under force control are carried out in this investigation. It is found that there is an observable correlation between the estimate crack length from stress reduction and the measured crack length, and between the slope of S-N curve after the breaking number of times and the measured crack length. Furthermore, it is confirmed that there is the Paris law between crack growth rate and stress intensity factor ΔK under 10 degree Celsius in an elastic area. This finding is due to the crack propagation properties with temperature in the fatigue tests under force control. An additional study of the crack propagation properties with different asphalt binders is further discussed. 応力制御による4点曲げ疲労試験(B018T)を実施して,アスファルト混合物のき裂伝播特性について検討した.B018T試験において,応力低下より推定されるき裂長さと実際に測定したき裂長さには同じ傾向があること,および試験より求めた破壊回数後におけるS-N曲線の傾きとき裂長さの傾きには一定の関係があることが判明した.温度によるき裂伝播特性への影響については,10℃以下の弾性挙動が顕著な温度域においては破壊力学パラメータΔKとき裂進展速度にParis則が成立することが確認された.また,アスファルトバインダの違いによるき裂伝播特性の差異についても検討し,考察を加えた.
