A Combined Numerical Simulation Method of Wave Transformation and Strip Method on Ship Motions Moored at Arbitrary Bathymetry

波浪変形計算とストリップ法を組み合わせた任意水底形状における係留船舶の動揺解析手法

In our previous study, the authors proposed a strip method of motions of ship moored along jetty, which employed a singularity distribution method, G=logR. Applying to an arbitrary bathymetry around the ship, it was difficult to calculate the three-dimensional exciting forces of ship precisely due to wave direction and phase difference in direction of ship’s bow and stem. In this paper, a combined numerical simulation method of wave transformation for nonlinear irregular wave and strip method on ship motions moored at arbitrary bathymetry is proposed, and the authors investigate the effect on ship motions of the uneven water depth (bathymetry), applying to a bulk carrier.
