EVALUATION OF EXPANDABLE POLYSTYRENE FOR USE IN SHIP SALVAGE AND SALVAGE TECHNIQUES PROPOSED BY DR. G. J. SHUGAR

The expandable beads of polystyrene and the proposed method of gaining positive buoyancy in a sunken vessel were evaluated to determine if suitable for use in ships salvage. It was found not suitable and is not recommended for acceptance. (Author)
