Bikes Across America
This article highlights the work of the Adventure Cycling Association (formerly the Bikecentennial), which advocates for the safety of cycling tourists and the promotion of U.S. bicycling initiatives. The organization is developing the U.S. Bicycle Route System (USBRS), an interstate bicycle route network of over 50,000 miles across all 50 states. The article describes the history of the USBRS and explores its future plans.
