LEAD BURDEN OF SYDNEY SCHOOLCHILDREN PARTS 1 AND 2

This report describes an extensive survey into the levels of lead in blood and hair of 1200 Sydney schoolchildren living in areas of high and low exposure. Detailed questionnaires were sent to all parents and teachers and blood and hair samples were taken from the children for chemical analysis. In the light of these results the origin of the lead levels found were examined to try to evaluate the health, learning and behavioural effects related to these levels. (TRRL)
