Preventive Control of Shock Absorbers in order to Improve Efficiency of Vehicles and Traffic Safety
Preventivna kontrola amortizera kako bi se poboljsala ucinkovitost vozila i sigurnost u prometu
Using Dring preventive control it was found that numerous vehicles have defective shock absorbers with reduced dumping oscillations efficacy and asymmetry on the front and rear axle. Based on these findings the shock absorbers control was stipulated according to: the number of kilometres, age of vehicles, and how and what kind of impact the shock absorbers have on the braking distance path. Dumper cancellations which arise are inaudible and senseless for drivers and require timely and efficient methods for observing and reducing dumper cancellations. For the decrease of the number of dumper cancellations adequate maintenance diagnostics of vehicles are used, which at the same time means increasing the vehicle safety, efficiency and effectiveness. These cancellations also mean increasing risk of car accidents.
