A sense of place

This article explores the development of the South Wales Metro and the entire public transport network in South East Wales. The transit system's work will first focus on the valley lines, with an aim of faster and more frequent service across the network and eventual network extension. The Metro is expected to transform the economic and social prospects of South East Wales and, ultimately, all of Wales. The author discusses the financial investment in the South Wales Metro and the plans for its various stages of development.
