Containment Systems

The world’s first liquefied gas carrier, which pioneered the safe storage and transport of liquefied gases on the waterways was developed 50 years ago at the Chicago Union Stock Yard. As the United States (U.S.) Energy Renaissance has begun, the country has positioned itself to provide large quantities of competitively priced shale gas. The industry is well established with experience, engineering, and standards to ensure that the volatile cargo will be kept safe in specialized containment systems.
