America in 2015: A ULI Survey of Views on Housing, Transportation, and Community

This document outlines the results of a U.S. survey covering preferences related to communities, housing, and transportation. A telephone survey of 1,202 respondents was conducted from January 5 through 21, 2015. Responses are broken down by race/ethnicity, age group, income, and homeownership status. Topics covered include: Satisfaction with housing and community; Community attribute priorities, including walkability and convenient public transit; Barriers to health-related community characteristics, and Location preferences.
