Competing with Silicon Valley

Recruiting information technology (IT) professionals for rail can be difficult because rail is not often viewed as a high-tech industry. Recruiters have been working to change this attitude by offering internships to students as well as targeting experienced IT professionals with jobs that offer potential career progression and a range of opportunities. Recruiting efforts are helping IT professionals become aware of and take interest in the railroad industry.
