USE OF BONDING TECHNIQUES FOR REINFORCING CONCRETE AND MASONRY STRUCTURES
UTILISATION DES TECHNIQUES DE COLLAGE POUR LE RENFORCEMENT DES STRUCTURES EN BETON OU EN MACONNERIE
The author studies the bonding of metal to metal and metal to concrete by means of epoxy resins. The procedure to follow is described: scraping of the surface, pre-glueing, preparation of a rough surface before glueing. Details are given of the results of flexural tests on concrete reinforced with a glued steel plate and of the influence of the plate. Practical advice is appended. /TRRL/
