TRANSPORT SYSTEM MANAGEMENT - PROCESS AND APPLICATION

Transport system management (tsm) is a planning and design process for transport system improvements. Its key goal is conservation of economic and social resources, energy, environmental quality and the overall quality of urban life. This is achieved by means of the co-ordination of operating, regulatory and engineering programs. A formalised process for tsm is presented and practical applications illustrated. /TRRL/
