Transit Investments for Greenhouse Gas and Energy Reduction Program: Final Report
This report is an addendum to the second assessment report of the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Transit Administration’s Transit Investments for Greenhouse Gas and Energy Reduction (TIGGER) Program. The TIGGER Program provides capital funds to transit agencies for projects that work to reduce the agency’s energy use and/or greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from their operations. The purpose of this report is to provide an overall status update for the program, provide an outlook on specific projects, and present an analysis of program results provided to date. This report briefly outlines the program and its goals, as well as the technologies being implemented.
