The Best Complete Streets Policies of 2015

Complete Streets is the integration of people and place in the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of transportation networks. Each year the National Complete Streets Coalition looks at and scores newly passed Complete Streets policies based on elements such as vision, modes, users, design, performance measures, and implementation steps. In 2015, 82 new Complete Streets policies were adopted bringing the total number of policies to 899. This document examines trends in Complete Streets policies, lists the top policies of 2015 and explains the scoring methodology.
