Moving Beyond Traffic
The U.S. Department of Transportation released a draft study called Beyond Traffic: Trends and Choices 2045 that looks at the trends and the tough choices facing decision-makers. The report asks what the transportation system will look like in 2045 if the country does not modify its transportation policies and investment strategies to keep up with changing demographics and technological advances. This article takes a brief look at transportation projects that are working and those that are not.
