Slow shear box tests on soil which are conducted over several days are expensive and have several disadvantages. the regional laboratory in nancy acquired the alternate shear boxes of the LCPC type and purchased a recording system to remedy the above disadvantages. AFter six months; the equipment has given full satisfaction. Details are given of the recording equipment (mulot sensors of TDL type mounted on dynameters, gauges, meci speedomax potentiometric recording device stabilised electric supply and resistance box) - The mounting of the recording equipment and results obtained are described. /TRRL/
