MECHANICAL EVALUATION ON THE EFFECT OF ASPHALT INTERLAYER BETWEEN THE COMPOSITE PAVEMENT AND ITS BASE

コンポジット舗装の路盤上面にアスファルト中間層を用いた効果の力学的評価

Asphalt interlayer on the subbase is expected to contribute further durability o composite pavement structure. This study was conducted to reveal the degree of structural contribution of above interlayer by mechanical analysis. In a project of expressway construction, a full-scale test section was built to measure the temperature and strain inside of the continuous reinforced concrete slab underneath the asphalt top layers in seasons. A structural model was proposed with 3D-FEM program, for analyzing both thermal and wheel load stresses in the composite pavement. As a result of this analysis, the asphalt interlayer contributes to the reduction of fatigue of composite pavement structure by 10% approximately. コンポジット舗装の更なる高耐久化を図る方策として路盤上面にアスファルト中間層を用い,その効果の力学的解析を試みた.建設中の高速道路において,実物大の試験施工を実施し,長期間に渡り舗装内部の温度およびひずみを計測したデータを分析し,舗装用3DFEMプログラムを用いたコンポジット舗装の温度応力および輪荷重応力を解析するモデルを構築した.それらを用いてコンポジット舗装の疲労度を計算した.その結果,アスファルト中間層を用いることで,疲労度を約10%低減する効果があることを明らかにした.
