DETERMINING CORRECT BAGHOUSE AIR-TO-CLOTH RATIOS

Air-to-cloth ratio is defined as the ratio of the actual cubic feet per minute of air volume to be effective filtering cloth area in square feet. A number of factors determine the ratio at which any given unit should operate: type of process, particle shape, chemical composition. It is vitally important to know the actual air-to-cloth ratio at which a collector effectively operates. This article discusses the dynamics of this process.
