Areas of impact. Areas that traffic psychology should deal with

This paper refers to those issues in daily life that are relevant for what we do as road users. What affects our behaviour may be inherent to the characteristics of the individual or socially induced, either on an interactive level (e.g. influence of peers) or in a structural sense (e.g. pressure from other road users). Interactions of individual and social stimuli with infrastructure and mode characteristics complete the picture. The autor postulates that traffic psychology should - from a point of view ot theory of science - deal with those issues. (A)
