Using Cellphone O-D Data for Regional Travel Model Validation
This paper presents a summary of the way in which cellphone location data can be used to validate regional travel models. The paper presents a detailed view of how the cellphone data is collected and summarized and what its strengths and weakness are. A summary of the comparison of cellphone location data with Syracuse travel model is presented followed by a list of recommendations derived from this comparison.
