CONTEMPORARY PROBLEMS IN TERRESTRIAL PHOTOGRAMMETRY

The conventional phototheodolite can be used for structural surveying if a classical analytical photogrammetric method is employed. It may be possible to overcome the difficulty of proper control point location under certain topographic conditions by measuring the orientation elements of the camera. If such measurements are to be made, a more elaborate camera calibration is required. Camera calibration and accuracy standards are given. /Author/
