BLOOD ALCOHOL IN AUTOMOBILE DRIVERS: MEASUREMENT AND INTERPRETATION FOR MEDICOLOGICAL PURPOSES

The factors involved in the medicolegal interpretation of blood alcohol concentrations (BAC) determined at various intervals after an incident were experimentally evaluated and related to the rate of alcohol elimination. Under the conditions of conventional drinking, the BAC within 2 hours following an incident may be considered as not different from that at the time of the incident.
