TECHNOLOGICAL PROPLEMS OF ELECTRIC POWER SUPPLY ON BOARD NAVAL VESSELS

DIE TECHNIK DER ELEKTRISCHEN ENERGIEVERSORGUNG AUF DRIEGSSCHIFFEN

After reviewing space limitations for electric equipment on board naval vessels large-scale planning of wiring is considered. The layout of circuitry and integration of subsystems is discussed and protective measures against short circuits and operating errors are outlined. The control units including the central technical control station, are briefly described. Electromagnetic compatibility problems are explained and subnetworks and power supply systems are surveyed.
