A Major Study of Driver's Driving Behavior
This paper presents a study on driver behavior in traffic accidents. The paper states that India currently has the highest number of traffic deaths, followed by China, the United States (US) Russia and the United Kingdom (UK). Human error currently plays a major role most traffic accidents. This paper concentrates on reaction time, stress tolerance and driving skills in order to correlate driver behavior and accident causes. The paper has three objectives: (1) to study the drivers behavior and attitudes in city driving; (2) to study the drivers behavior and attitudes in highway driving; and (3) to compare driver behavior under stress.
