MARINE PROPELLER BLADES STRESSES AND DEFORMATIONS WITH GIVEN, FROZEN, HYDRODYNAMIC LOADING
Propellers with different geometries were loaded by tension pads and soft springs in order to observe static response to given hydrodynamic loading. Various theoretical response models were tested employing e.g. a finite element approach, shell theory and the simple beam theory.
