Law and order
In terms of improving safety, the environment and congestion, the new cooperative intelligent transportation systems (C-ITS) environment promises much. However, in terms of properly defining the legal frameworks within which such technology should operate, there is a long way to go. Data security, standardization, and stakeholders/ownership are issues that are discussed in this article.
