Study on Multi-Objective Programming and Algorithm for Operation Plan of Dedicated Passenger Line

The operation plan of dedicated passenger line plays an important role in everyday passenger train operation. In accordance with analyses of the turnovers in rail transportation enterprise and the traveling fares paid by passengers, this paper takes into account performance of the enterprise and passengers’ traveling demands, gives a multi-objective optimization model which is based on the operation plan of dedicated passenger line, and solves the model by Genetic Algorithm with MATLAB. A numerical optimization example of CRH operation plan from Peking to Shanghai is given to prove correctness of the model.
