Improving the Safety of London's Roads
The improvement of road safety in London is a top priority. The article focuses on the increasing volume of freight and fleet traffic and how to change the behavior of these drivers. The article discusses the "Safer Lorry Scheme," which is a program that bans any lorry over 3.5 tons not fitted with basic safety equipment to operate in the city. Outfitting vehicles with safety equipment improves road safety and having drivers participate in training sessions makes them more aware of the importance of fleet safety.
