THE EFFECT OF THE QUALITY OF SAND ON THE DURABILITY PERFORMANCE OF CONCRETE AND ITS EVALUATION USING SURFACE ABSORPTION TEST

使用材料の異なるコンクリートの耐久性能と吸水性状の関係

In this research, the surface absorption test was investigated as a method that can evaluate the durability performance of cover concrete. For this purpose, concrete specimens were made with various kinds of cement, aggregate and water cement ratio between 30 and 70 percent. Ingress of chloride ions after 6 month ponding test with 10% NaCl solution and carbonation depth after 23 week in the accelerated condition (described in JIS A 1153)were measured and compared with the amount of surface absorption after 6 h. As a result, it was revealed that the fine aggregate whose absorption ration was low, for instance blast furnace slag fine aggregate, can decrease the ingress of chloride ions in concrete. There were relationship between the amount of surface absorption after 6 h and the ingress of chloride ions in concrete after ponding test. On the other hand, the amount of surface absorption after 6 h cannot distinguish the difference of air content in concrete which can affect the carbonation.かぶりコンクリートの品質を評価する試験方法として表面吸水試験に着目し、その試験結果と塩水浸せき試験における塩化物イオン侵入深さや促進環境下における中性化深さを比較した。その結果、高炉スラグ細骨材などの吸水率の小さい細骨材を用いると塩化物イオン侵入に対する抵抗性が向上する場合があること、吸水性状から、水セメント比、セメント種類、細骨材種類などの異なるコンクリートの塩化物イオン侵入に対する抵抗性を評価できる可能性があることなどがわかった。一方、中性化抵抗性を評価する指標としては、空気量が異なるコンクリートの判別など、困難な点があった。
