Securing Your Control Systems
Cyber attacks can occur on any type of system, including maritime control systems and navigation technologies. Control systems have become more computerized and, as a result, more vulnerable to cybersecurity incidents. It is necessary to audit control system information security and test systems for vulnerability and robustness. Control systems are a new area for testing, requiring novel and custom tools due to proprietary technology. Hardware-in-the-loop testing combined with cybersecurity testing can help improve the safety and security of maritime control systems.
