Greening the Walls

Green walls (or living walls) are a rising trend in green design, used to cover the facades of parking garages. These walls offer both aesthetic improvement and environmental benefits that include better air quality, temperature regulation, and building protection. Two types of effective green wall systems for parking garages are described, and the article lists the top ten things to consider before installing a green wall.
