COLD REGION MARINE TECHNOLOGY: CURRENT CONTRIBUTIONS AND FUTURE CHALLENGES
In the last few years the state-of-the-art of cold region marine technology has advanced rapidly. This paper presents a definition of cold regions marine technology and delineates some of the important problems which fall within the scope of the definition. The motivation for the trend of increasing interest in this field is discussed. Noteworthy current developments are elaborated upon, and future challenges in cold region marine technology are presented.
