SUBMERGED WEIGHT CONTROL FOR SUBMARINE PIPELINE CONSTRUCTION
Deals with the significance and importance of controlling the submerged weight pipelines laid in deep water. Functional requirements and suggested performance requirements for submerged weight control systems are described. Methods and materials for adding weight or buoyancy to the submerged pipeline are examined. Preferred systems for practical application are identified and discussed. Probable systems for early use are identified.
