CURVED FINITE ELEMENT APPROXIMATION TO NONLINEAR CABLES

Presents a numerical solutions method for three-dimensional nonlinear cable problems, both static and dynamic, adequate for the proper analysis of cables in which rapid spatial and temperal changes in geometric and material properties occur.
