ENDLESS TRAIN-PEOPLE MOVER

A CONTINUOUSLY MOVING TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM CALLED THE SYNCHROVEYOR HAS BEEN PROPOSED THAT WOULD MOVE AT A SPEED OF 15 TO 30 MPH. PASSENGERS WOULD BOARD THE EXPRESS SYNCHROVEYOR FROM LOCAL MOVING PLATFORMS WHICH FORM A SHORT CLOSED LOOP SYSTEM. THE LOCAL LOOPS OPERATE AT SPEEDS UP TO 30 MPH AND ARE DESIGNED TO ENCOMPASS SEVERAL CITY BLOCKS. THEY CAN BE INSTALLED UNDERGROUND WITH SURFACE ENTRANCES OR ABOVE GROUND IN ENCLOSED AREAS. THE LOCALS LOAD AND UNLOAD PASSENGERS, MOVE ONE-FOURTH OF THE LENGTH OF THEIR ROUTE, THEN STOP ONCE THE CIRCUITS HAVE STOPPED, ELIMINATING POINT CONGESTION. IN OTHER WORDS, THE SYSTEM HAS NO STATIONS IN THE CONVENTIONAL SENSE. ONCE ABOARD, PASSENGERS CAN FURTHER DISPERSE DUE TO THE CONTINUOUS, NON-COMPARTMENTALIZED NATURE OF THE TRAIN. SIDE ENCLOSURES PREVENT IMPROPER ENTRY OR EXIT. PASSENGERS BOARD AND DEPART THE LOCAL SAFELY AND SIMPLY BY A REVOLVING DOOR PRINCIPLE. THIS INVOLVES SEMI- CIRCULAR TRANSFER DECKS. PASSENGERS WALK ONTO THE DECKS. WHEN THE TRAIN HAS STOPPED THE REVOLVING DECK IS ELECTRONICALLY UNLOCKED. IT REVOLVES PLACING THE PASSENGER OUTSIDE THE TRAIN WHERE HE STEPS OFF. DECKS ARE LOCATED AT INTERVALS OF EVERY FEW FEET BETWEEN THE LOCAL AND THE ADJACENT SIDEWALK AND COULD LOAD AND UNLOAD SIMULTANEOUSLY 3500 PASSENGERS PER LOOP MILE WITHIN A FEW SECONDS. /MR/
