Main Roads trial of Austroads National Risk Assessment Model (ANRAM)
Main Roads Western Australia has trialled the Austroads National Risk Assessment Model (ANRAM) on a number of routes within Western Australia. The trial of the model was based on data built from corporate data sets rather than video coding. This was only possible because Main Roads had previously collected roadside hazard information. The paper describes the methods used to compile the required data sets and comparison of these generated with those created for AusRAP for the majority of the national highway network in Western Australia by video coding.
