EFFECTS ON THE TRACK, BALLAST AND FORMATION OF MOVING LOADS

This article has been published by the SNCF Equipment Management to summarize generally the international research work carried out by the ORE D 71 Committee. Use was made of modern stress-measuring techniques and the resources of different research bodies. The findings are contained in 12 reports (chapters listed in an appendix) and the article gives details of the various stages and the main results.
