Navigating Your First TRB Annual Meeting
The TRB Annual Meeting is a unique learning and networking experience, but it can be an overwhelming to new attendees. This article provides some tips on how to plan for the Annual Meeting and how to navigate the myriad sessions, meetings and receptions offered during the meeting. The author, a first-time attendee in 2012, suggests that new attendees seek advice from experienced attendees for advice on which sessions might offer the best value. They should also come prepared to make contacts with other professionals in their field.
