PROPELLER DESIGN CONCEPTS
The paper discusses design problems relating to high-speed propellers, with special reference to methods of dealing with cavitation and propeller-induced vibrations. Part I of the paper provides guidance in preliminary design phases when basic design parameters can still be change. Part II describes the techniques to be used in the blade shaping process.
