Active Maglev guideway as electricity generating and distribution facility
The main problems of rapid transport include high (and rising) level of energy consumption and high (and growing) user-passengers requirements. The solution to these problems is proposed to lie within integrating in a single system advanced transportation and energy technologies. Shifting the power supply to distributed system introduces significant modifications in the structure of the technical solutions and methods in economic evaluation of the entire system.
