IN THE AIR--THE NEW TOWN TRAIN
It is accepted that the hovertrain has no future because of its disadvantages, although it is considered that the test track could easily be converted and re-employed for testing Professor Laithwaites' magnetically-suspended, linear-motor, vehicle, which could become the ideal form of urban transport.
