SHORT CIRCUITING BY THE AXLES IN THE CASE OF A.C. TRACK CIRCUITS
A study of the short-circuiting of the axles in the case of trains running on tracks without insulating joints. The use of computers enables the characteristic track-circuit curves to be established, taking into account the effect of the ohmic resistance of the relays, as well as of the track, and the axles. The result of the calculations enables the efficiency of the installations to be established in accordance with the frequency bands used, and the type of permanent way employed.
