NOISE POLLUTION AND ABATEMENT ACT OF 1970

The Noise Pollution and Abatement Act of 1970 establishes an Office of Noise Abatement and Control in the Environmental Protection Agency to conduct a full and complete investigation of noise and its effect on public health and welfare. The investigation is to include an identification of noise sources, projected noise levels, and effects of on persons, animals and property.
